Softball is not a scaled-down baseball jersey
Softball uniforms use a shorter body, a narrower shoulder and a different armhole than baseball. The button front usually stops higher, and the lettering is sized for the smaller chest panel.
The generator keeps the placket, collar, sleeve trim and body as distinct design elements, so you can change the cut without redrawing the wordmark.

Color systems that survive a double-header
Most softball programs run two or three uniforms: a light home set, a dark away set and a colored alternate. Build the home set first, then swap the base and accent colors to create the others.
Light jerseys hide sweat and dirt less than dark ones, but they photograph better. If the team plays on red clay, avoid white pants and keep the jersey trim dark enough to hold its edge.
Lettering, numbers and renders
Softball wordmarks are often script or a bold block. Script reads well across the chest but needs a clean outline when the jersey has pinstripes. Numbers should stay in a block face.
